How do the Front-Collision Warning and the Automated Shift Assistant work together?

If braking is initiated by the Front-Collision Warning system , the Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) responds with automated downshifting and – depending on the current riding situation –  full opening of the clutch.  This means that the ASA further optimizes riding stability.
