Can I intervene spontaneously with the Automated Shift Assistant in shift mode "D" and request a gear change?

Yes, even with automatic gear selection in shift mode "D" , you can initiate a gear change at any time using the  foot gearshift lever, without leaving "D" mode. The system automatically switches back to automatic gear selection when a harmonious transition is possible. It is not necessary to press the ASA button to switch between manual and automatic shift mode.    


In shift mode "D", the shift points are selected automatically via the engine control unit. The executed gear changes ensure efficient acceleration of the motorcycle and greater riding stability.
