Are two transmissions and two clutches installed in the Automated Shift Assistant?

The Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) only has one transmission and one clutch. The ASA is based on a conventional manual transmission with a wet clutch, in which the clutch disks are immersed in a bath of oil or another lubricant. The system structure is reliable, less prone to faults and has been intensively tested by BMW Motorrad.
