What can I do if voice guidance from the navigation app on my smartphone is too quiet?

There are two levels to control the volume of the voice output (1st level: smartphone; 2nd level: helmet).


1st level smartphone:
Ensure that the volume for phone calls and media playback is at an audible level (volume control buttons during phone call or media playback).
If this is not the case, only a very quiet or no audio signal is transmitted to the helmet.
The volume of the navigation voice output follows the set level for phone calls and media playback of your smartphone.

 

2nd level helmet:
The volume of the helmet can be controlled using the buttons on the helmet or the Multi-Controller (BMW Motorrad communication systems only).
