I connected my smartphone, which contains the BMW Motorrad Connected app, to the TFT display of my motorcycle with the Connectivity equipment. Why do I only see the speed limit in the TFT display as strokes while riding?

This can happen if one of the following causes is present:
  1. The energy saving mode of your smartphone is activated for the BMW Motorrad Connected app.
  2. Outdated map material can be a trigger. To make sure your maps are up to date, update them using the "Map download" menu in the BMW Motorrad Connected app.
  3. Lack of GPS reception (e.g. in buildings). Please make sure that your smartphone has appropriate GPS reception.
