Do I need a BMW Motorrad communication system to use the BMW Motorrad Connected app?

No. The use of a BMW Motorrad communication system is not necessary for using the BMW Motorrad Connected app. Even without a communication system, the app displays navigation instructions on the TFT display, offers route recording and shows important vehicle information. 

 

Note:  Without a connected communication system, neither the media nor the telephone function of the Connectivity equipment can be used. Furthermore, the function for voice guidance during navigation is omitted.
