Do I have to be connected to the Internet to use the ConnectedRide Navigator?

No, the ConnectedRide Navigator has full offline functionality. However, the ConnectedRide Navigator requires an Internet connection at least every 6 months in order to carry out functional software updates, map updates and, if necessary, legally relevant updates.

If the connection is not established every 6 months, you will receive a notice and must connect the device to the Internet within the specified time, otherwise the offline services may be restricted for legal reasons.
