Yes, the ConnectedRide Navigator also works independently on motorcycles from other brands and offers full touch functionality as well as audio function / voice output (via the communication system in the helmet). Only the (multimedia) operation via the BMW Motorrad Multi-Controller on the handlebars is missing when using the Navigator on motorcycles from other brands. Similarly, vehicle data under "Motorcycle" cannot be read out by the Navigator if it is not paired with a Connectivity-enabled motorcycle from BMW.
Please note: A BMW navigation device bracket is not absolutely necessary on the motorcycle – just make sure that the Navigator is sufficiently supplied with power, e.g. using a 12V accessory power socket or power bank.
A bracket for retrofitting to another motorcycle is not currently available.
If you are using the Navigator on a non-Connectivity-enabled motorcycle, set the screen illumination to infinity under "Settings > System > Display" so that the display always stays on and does not go into sleep mode.

Can I also use the ConnectedRide Navigator on motorcycles of other brands?
