Hill Start Control is a feature that helps you by applying and holding the rear brake when you're on a hill. If you have this option on your bike and have to stop on a hill, simply apply firm pressure to the front brake lever and release. This symbol will light up on the display and the Hill Start Control will engage. The system will apply your rear brake with just enough clamping power to hold you on the incline without the need to continue applying your hand and foot brake. When you're ready to move again, apply an appropriate amount of clutch and throttle. The rear brake will automatically release as you start to move forward.
The difference between Hill Start Control and Hill Start Control Pro is that with Pro you no longer need to apply the brakes to use this feature. Your bike will sense that you were stopped on an incline and apply the rear brake automatically.
