How do I attach the rear frame bag of the R 1300 GS Adventure to the motorbike?

The rear frame bag is bolted to the rear frame instead of the side cover.
The bag uses the screw-on points and the screws on the side cover. Proceed as follows to attach the rear frame bag to the R 1300 GS Adventure:

  1. Open the installation zipper on the frame bag to access the screw holes

  2. Insert the screw with the washer "M6x20x3.5" from the inside through the screw holes in the bag.

  3. Insert the washer "M6x16" around the screw from the outside. Use the liquid thread lock "Locktite blue medium strength" for fastening.

  4. Screw the rear frame bag onto the R 1300 GS Adventure. The optimum tightening torque is 3 Nm.

Note:
The scope of delivery includes 2 versions each of the washers "M6x16x3.5" and "M6x20x3.5".
