The Tokyo Connect GTX jacket requires a continuous power supply, either through a spiral cable to the motorcycle’s electrical system (12 V socket) or through an adequate power bank. We recommend using a power bank with USB-PD (“Power Delivery”). Note that if a power bank is connected in addition to the connection to the on-board electrical system, the jacket is only supplied with power via the vehicle’s electrical system.
We also recommend a Bluetooth connection of the jacket with the BMW Motorrad Connected app (via your smartphone). This enables further control of the jacket as well as operation through the Multi-Controller.
