The Vario case or topcase is attached to the motorcycle, but when it is opened, the lighting does not come on automatically. What can I do or what could be the fault?

If the lighting inside the luggage system does not come on automatically, it is because the electrical contacts between the motorcycle and the Vario side case / topcase are not working.

The protective caps may still be attached or the contacts may be dirty. Check the contact points on the motorcycle / luggage and re-attach the side cases / topcase to the motorcycle.
